This project explores a careful interior transformation of an existing dwelling, guided by restraint, material clarity, and respect for the original structure. Rather than introducing a new identity, the design builds upon what is already present, allowing old and new elements to merge into a coherent and balanced whole. Natural stone floors, lime-based wall finishes, and exposed timber structures establish a warm and tactile atmosphere throughout the house. Spaces are clearly defined yet remain visually connected, creating a calm continuity between living, dining, and kitchen areas. The kitchen is conceived as an integral part of the living space, where custom cabinetry and robust materials support everyday use without dominating the architecture. Private rooms and the attic level are shaped through minimal, essential interventions. Here, proportion, filtered light, and the existing roof structure become the primary spatial drivers, resulting in an interior that feels timeless, serene, and closely connected to its original context.
